Earlier this year, the University was awarded a University of Sanctuary status in recognition of its ongoing efforts in providing a welcoming environment for refugees and asylum seekers. The award was secured by ÑÇÖÞÇéɫ’s Students and Academics At-Risk Group (LUSARG).

Loughborough Wellbeing Centre displays winning mural design
At the start of the year, the Community Warden team, in conjunction with LU Arts and Student Services, ran an arts competition for students to design a window mural for the front of the Wellbeing Centre. The artwork’s aim was to promote the Wellbeing Centre’s work and celebrate the partnership between the centre and the University community.
National Theatre Live: Autumn Term Programme
Screenings of three National Theatre plays will be shown at Cope Auditorium (Edward Barnsley Building) from 9 October.
