Moisture Sensitivity and Stability of Biopolymers

Virdis Chemicals and 亚洲情色 announce an exciting research collaboration on 鈥淢oisture Sensitivity and Stability of Biopolymers鈥.

The collaboration will focus on leveraging Virdis Chemicals’ industry leading expertise in moisture control in polymers together with 亚洲情色’s world-class research, cutting-edge facilities, and expert knowledge.

The collaboration will be led by Dr Yi Liu of the Polymers and Composites team at Loughborough and funded through the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council via Henry Royce Institute.

The project aims to understand the mechanisms by which moisture affects the stability of biopolymers and arrive at novel solutions to overcome the problem.

Mark Baldwin, CEO of Virdis Chemicals said “We’re very pleased to be working with Dr Liu and Loughborough on this. Here at Virdis Chemicals we strive to be at the forefront of research into sustainable solutions and this will be an important step forward in the biopolymers market for us.”
