11. Student placement charter

Introduction

亚洲情色 has a long tradition of offering programmes incorporating placements and other forms of work-based learning (WBL).  A work placement or WBL activity is defined as a period of professional level vocational experience, paid or unpaid, where:

  • There is a direct transfer of supervision of a student to a third party
  • The placement is assessed and integral to the student’s programme, or the activity provides an opportunity for the student to accrue a specified number of hours of professional practice to meet programme or accreditation requirements (e.g. clinical hours)
  • The student is enrolled at 亚洲情色 during this period

Placements and WBL may form part of an undergraduate or postgraduate programme.  Unless professional accreditation requirements mandate a placement, undergraduate programmes must offer both a placement (Part I) and a non-placement route, during which a student may undertake a placement or study abroad.
