Loughborough’s Talent Match has been designed to help small to medium sized organisations - locally, nationally and globally - gain access to our proactive students’ skills and expertise for short-term projects and resourcing.  It is a great chance to bring a student into the business, utilise their skillset and harness their desire to create impact and add value to the business.

In addition, as part of Talent Match, we include free recruitment support, ensuring a stress-free service from advertising roles on our careers portal, to sifting through the applications.

The programme incorporates several streams which, in some cases, have potential funding allowing you to benefit without the financial worry.

Our Early Futures Internships are an ideal opportunity to utilise student resource on a project or piece of work and to engage our students early in their university journey. 

These are designed as 50-hour internships aimed at 1st and 2nd years and typically completed over 4-6 weeks to balance work alongside studies or other commitments. 

We are now open to employers who wish to host an internship!  Complete this to get things started.

This is for an internship that will take place during February - March/April 2027.  Funding opportunities are available for eligible SMEs.

Our Finalist Futures Internships are an ideal opportunity to utilise student resource on a project or piece of work.   Aimed at our final year students, and recent graduates, these are for 50 hours typically over 4-6 weeks, with flexibility on the number of hours per week - a great way to trial a candidate before taking them on full time once they graduate.

We are now open to employers who wish to host an internship!  Complete this to get things started.

This is for an internship that will take place during February - March/April 2027.  Funding opportunities are available for eligible SMEs.

A great chance to bring an experienced master's student into the business, gain fresh perspectives and benefit from the impact and added value they bring. These internships are for 100 hours and typically spread over 6-8 weeks with flexibility on the number of hours per week.

This is for an internship that will take place during February - April/May 2027.  Funding opportunities are available for eligible SMEs.

Our Talent Match Global Virtual Internship programme is tailor-made to connect international organisations and businesses like yourself with our amazing 1st and 2nd year students, enabling you to utilise students’ skills and expertise for short-term projects and resourcing.  They are based on 50-hours, with students working remotely from the UK, and typically completed remotely over 3-4 weeks in July / August.
